A new anthology, "Brooklyn Was Mine," just came out from Riverhead Books. It's a great (and good-looking) collection of essays by young Brooklyn writers about their favorite borough, and all the proceeds are going to Develop, Don't Destroy Brooklyn. So your purchase of a copy will help support sustainable development in New York City.
A reading to support the book will be given on January 15th. Here are the details:
WHEN: Tuesday, January 15th, 7:00 PM
WHERE: Bookcourt, 163 Court Street, Cobble Hill
WHO: Authors reading will include Emily Barton Hopkins, Alexandra Styron and Darcey Steinke
